At the Edinburgh Hellenic School of St Andrew, we aim to promote and develop opportunities for our children to experience all aspects of the “Greek Culture”. Traditional Greek Dancing is an integral component of Greek Culture. Dancing is probably the most important element (along with good food), in community based gatherings that mark numerous religious and social occasions. Our aim is to pass this tradition on and encourage our children to develop their dancing skills in a fun, friendly and inclusive environment. Dancing is great way to develop social skills, be physically active, develop important sensory and motor skills and competencies that will stay with them forever.
