About our school
Edinburgh’s Greek School was set up to pass on the Modern Greek language to the children of Edinburgh’s Greek Community. Now the School opens its doors to everybody. Friendly, structured classes for every kind of Greek learner. Everyone is welcome, from complete beginners upwards.
Here is what some of our students say:
“I have been a student at the Greek School for several years now. I enjoy the small informal classes and the great atmosphere created by the teacher Katy Logotheti-Anderson. Katy is warm, enthusiastic and inclusive in her teaching. Her passion for the language and for Greek culture shines through’. – Meaghan Delahunt, prizewinning novelist, author of To The Island ,set in Greece and translated as Τα κύματα του παρελθόντος, and lecturer at Stirling University.”
“I really enjoy learning Greek at the Greek School. The teacher is great fun and very clear. The atmosphere of the two classes that I have been to is relaxed and encourages learning. Greek is a fascinating language to learn.
